Is it really free? Are there any limits?

Yes. You can use the tools for free. To keep things fast and safe, some local limits apply (for example, up to 10MB per PDF and up to 50 pages in the PDF converter).

Are my files (PDF/ZPL) uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion and rendering run locally in your browser (including Web Workers for performance). Your label content is not uploaded or stored. The site may use cookies and usage metrics without accessing your files — see the Privacy Policy.

Which printers are compatible with the generated ZPL?

Output is intended for printers that support ZPL/ZPL II. If your device uses a different language (such as EPL, CPCL, or TSPL), it may not print correctly.

What does DPI mean, and which one should I pick?

DPI is print resolution. 203 DPI is the common default; 300 DPI helps with small text and denser barcodes; 600 DPI is best when you need maximum sharpness. For accurate sizing, match the DPI configured on your printer.

Can I export the label as an image or PDF?

Yes. Depending on the tool, you can export the preview as PNG/JPG/PDF and also copy or download the ZPL. This is helpful for sharing, archiving, and validating layout before printing.

How do I convert a PDF label to ZPL?
